I’ve got a bench clamp that used to fight me every time I swapped workpieces, but this one just figures out the thickness on its own up to 3 1/2 inches, and the base holds rock solid thanks to that bolt and knob. It’s made switching between boards feel almost effortless, and the 3-inch jaw is plenty

The auto-adjust mechanism is seriously clever—it just clicks down and grips whatever thickness I throw at it, from thin boards up to that full 3 1/2 inch capacity. The base's knob tightens solidly into my workbench hole, so nothing wobbles mid-cut. Set-up took maybe a minute total.

Had to double-check the auto-adjust wasn’t broken because it grabbed a 1/4” board and a 3” block back-to-back without me touching a thing. The knob on the base is chunky enough that I don’t need a wrench to lock it down. Hands-free clamping on the bench has become my new favorite shortcut.
