The phenolic surface is dead flat and the alignment marks made it stupidly easy to get centered on my bench. The 3/8" thickness feels plenty rigid, and the Level-Loc rings are a nice bonus since I already have a set.
The alignment marks were a lifesaver for getting this centered perfectly on my router table base, and at 3/8" thick it feels rock solid with zero flex under load. Installation took me about ten minutes once I had the template set up, and the phenolic surface seems tough enough to last years.
