Protec-Kote™ Deck Screws - 51 mm

These drove in straight and smooth with my drill, and the self-tapping tip really grabbed the wood without any pre-drilling hassle. I’ve had them out in the rain for a few weeks now and not a speck of rust yet, so the coating’s doing its job.

The self-tapping tip made driving these into the deck frame a breeze, even in the corners. That smooth upper shank really does pull the boards down tight without any stripping, and the coating has held up through a few rainy weeks so far.

The three-layer coating really sold me for outdoor use — my last deck screws rusted within a year, so that Protec-Kote finish was the deciding factor. They drove in straight with the self-tapping tip, no pilot holes needed.
