Kreg Edge Band Clamps

The pivoting jaws really earned their keep on a 3/4-inch maple board — full pad contact meant zero slipping mid-clamp. Stretch is just right, tight enough to pull the banding flush but it never dented the edge. This is my new go-to for edge work.

The band holds tight enough that I forgot it was even on while I glued up the edge, and the stretch really does conform without leaving any marks on the wood. Pivoting jaws made contact solid on the thicker stock too, which was my main worry.

The pivoting jaws really hug the workpiece edge—no slipping even when I was clamping thicker stock, and the stretchable band pulls tight without leaving any dents on the wood. Took me a few tries to get the tension right, but once it’s set, the banding stays flush while the glue dries.
