Kreg 溝槽木釘

The fluting pulled the wood glue right down into the joint, so I didn't have to slather it on thick like I used to. The 3/8" set fit my jig perfectly and the hardwood definitely feels sturdier than the soft pine dowels I've grabbed before.

The chamfered ends made pushing these into my jig a breeze, no splitting or fighting the wood. Grabbed the 3/8" size for a shelf project and the flutes really pulled the glue in tight for a rock-solid joint.

I was a little worried about whether the 3/8" ones would seat evenly in my jig, but those chamfered ends slid right in and the flutes really grabbed the glue. The hardwood feels dense and solid, so I'm confident these joints aren't going anywhere once the adhesive sets.
